WHAT WE DO
Our primary focus is on improving patient engagement. We do this through the development and use of tools and techniques that work at the intersection of behavioral economics, positive psychology, and negotiation theory. Our tool set is constantly growing and evolving as our research develops, best practices are recognized, and healthcare markets and regulation evolve and shift. Each tool we suggest seeks to engage patients logically, emotionally, and/or physiologically to increase their engagement with the healthcare environment. We believe that when patients, families, physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff are fully engaged with one another, healthcare outcomes improve and patient and employee satisfaction will blossom.
WHO WE SERVE
- Do you work for a healthcare system or individual hospital worried about patient satisfaction and HCAHPS results?
- Are you a member of a hospitalist team looking for strategies to improve communication with patients?
- Are you a physician trying to grow your private practice?
We serve you all….
How WE Do IT
The process varies depending on the nature of each client. For our hospital clients seeking improved patient engagement, we generally visit the site and participate in a discussion with the leadership team to talk through our approach and their needs. From there, we immediately roll out an initial tool set to get the ball rolling. Patient engagement is not the result of one factor, but rather the combination of many small touch points. As a result, the quicker the process begins, the better for all involved.
NEXT STEPS
Let’s talk. We work on a monthly retainer that is based on the intensity of our work. It’s a simple process to get going. Call us today and we could be driving patient engagement for you tomorrow.

Feedback
on one-on-one coaching
“I feel like in that 1½ hours I learned a great deal of information regarding human behavior and interaction.”
on a patient engagement tool
“We’ve used these to two floors—one with stroke patients and the other with patients from group homes that have trouble communicating. Both the nurses and the doctors on those floors are using them and have found them very helpful.”
